DIRECTIONS: Via US #378 from Lexington – about 10 miles from downtown Lexington up highway 378 towards traffic circle on left.
THEME: St. Patrick’s Day (wear your green!)
CATERER: Shealy’s: corn beef and cabbage, fried chicken, mac/cheese, rice/gravy, green beans, rolls/tea dessert
2. Thursday, May 15 @ Grace Lutheran (401 Main Street, Gilbert) 7:00 PM
RESPOND BY FRIDAY, MAY 9
DIRECTIONS: Via US #378 about 8 miles and turn left onto Priceville Road…cross over US #1 (or you can go straight out US Highway #1) and becomes Peach Festival Road another 4 miles and cross over RR track, past Gilbert Elementary on left and church is on your right.
THEME: Something around Mother’s Day (Will recognize all mother’s with something special?)

THEME: Sports — Wear your favorite sports outfits! No kidding — all the ‘orange and garnet’ is welcome as well as Newberry College and high school! You choose. AND A SPECIAL SPEAKER WILL BE ON HAND.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 213 St. John’s Church Road, Lexington, 29072 will sponsor a Heart health Screening, a health awareness program for the community on Tuesday, February, 25, 2014 from 7:30 A. M. to 10:30 A. M. in the Parish Building. To reach St. John’s from Lexington go about 6.4 miles on Highway 378 toward Saluda. Just after you cross the Jake Knotts’ Bridge turn right onto St. John’s Church Road and travel about 1/4 mile. The Parish Building is on the right.
Lexington Medical Center staff will perform the following screenings at no charge: cholesterol/lipid profile, glucose, and blood pressure. A simple blood test can determine the results of each component to your screening, except blood pressure. You may request a thyroid profile for $32 or Vitamin D Level for $40, cash or check only. During the 12 hours before the tests do not eat any food or drink any liquid except water. If you are on any type of medication, take your medicine with water prior to your appointment. You are encouraged to drink water prior to your appointment to avoid dehydrated veins. Lexington Spinal Care personnel will offer free massages. Everyone who is 18 years of age or older is welcome so please call 892-2765 for an appointment.
